Project Idea: Women of the Epics

In addition to the many women characters in the Ramayana, you will find lots of great women characters in the Mahabharata also. For a project, you can zoom in on one character in particular, or find a theme that will allow you to bring together different women's stories, from one epic or both.

Research Tip: Here are just a few of the Wikipedia articles about women characters in the Mahabharata: Draupadi, Kunti, Madri, Satyavati, Gandhari, Amba, Uttara, Subhadra, Ulupi, Hidimbi, and Chitrangada.
