Yesterday's Twitter: Rahu and Ketu

From yesterday's Twitter, Amar Chitra Katha offers a story with an animation:

The demon Saimhikeya disguised himself as a holy man and managed to get a sip of the divine nectar, Amrita, after the churning of the ocean. Surya (the Sun) and Chandra (the Moon) saw through him and told Vishnu about the intruder. Vishnu cut off the head of the demon but since Saimhikeya had sipped Amrita, he did not die. The two parts of the body evolved into Rahu and Ketu. Furious with the sun and the moon for betraying them, Rahu and Ketu try to kill the two even today. Rahu, who is the head, swallows them up, but because his neck is cut they manage to slip out.
