Project Idea: Loving Couples of the Ramayana

Loving couples... and also couples who are not so loving. There are lots of great stories you can work with here!

Research Tip: There is the central couple of course, Rama and Sita, and you can learn about the other couples at Wikipedia.

• At Ayodhya there are Urmila and Lakshmana, plus Dasharatha and his wives Kaushalya, Sumitra, and Kaikeyi. 
• In Lanka, there are Mandodari and Ravana, plus Sulochana (Promila) and Indrajit. 
• In the monkey world, there are Tara and Vali, plus Ruma and Sugriva. 
• In his travels, Rama meets Ahalya and Gautama, and also  Tataka who is mourning her husband Sunda. 
• In the Thai version of the Ramayana, Hanuman is in love with the mermaid Suvannamaccha.
